Lloyd J. Oxford is a nationally certified fundraising professional well versed and experienced in many approaches to fundraising development expansion and community/economic development capacity building.

With 20+ years of experience in managing city, county and statewide non-profit institutions Mr. Oxford has been effectively serving the non-profit

community of Metropolitan New Jersey for the past eight years. He is adept in assessing development needs and has conducted comprehensive organizational assessment evaluations that have resulted in the development of strategic/fundraising plans and there effective implementation for his clients.  Mr. Oxford is committed to building community assets by enhancing his clients' overall capacity to become self-sufficient.

Skills and Experiences

Mr. Oxford, former President/CEO of the Black United Fund of New Jersey(BUFNJ) for fourteen years, increased overall organizational revenue growth by $11.6 million and enhanced the reinvestment performance record by $9.2 million

He quadrupled the organization’s donor database, developed and increased the capacity of volunteers statewide, and expanded private sector fund raising markets and extended their capacity.

He provided technical assistance and advocacy for health & human service providers. By directing the development of public relations plans for each local organization,

He created and maintained public awareness and statewide presence for BUF/NJ.

He planned and convened several statewide forums and symposiums on economic development and capacity building.

Mr. Oxford was chosen to participate in a two year fellowship with the U. S. Department of Housing & Urban Development as the Economic Development Specialist for the Mid-Atlantic region, closing numerous economic development deals in several jurisdictions within the region.

He produced a comprehensive reporting system and power point presentation that substantially justified New Jersey Commerce, Economic Growth and Tourism Commission’s $20 million dollar Economic Development Site Fund grant and loan program
